Anyone had a problem with the main pivot pin? There was a horriffic noise coming from my BB area recently and when I stripeed the bike down the main pivot pin had been wearing away at the non-drive side. I have always kept an eye on the torque every month or so and it has never been loose so that’s not an issue and the bearings in that area have all been changed. The pivot pin is missing paint in some areas around where it sits in the bearing and in to the frame sleeve. The pivot kits have only just become available from On-One so I’ve replaced it now and it seems ok. However I’m worried that the pin has damaged the sleeve. In my experience pivot pins should be quite a tight fit, unless I’m wrong. Time will tell. Anyone had a problem with this?
