    It’s probably been done already (been neglecting STW a bit today) but thought folk on here might like this footage from on board John Degenkolb’s bike during the Tour of California stage 1 sprint finish. Brilliant film, should have stuff like this on the telly. Must be watched in HD on a big screen!

    Wow, that’d get me watching more road racing if it became more prevalent.

    I reckon even if they mic’d up some of the bikes that’d be cool, the noise and the shouting as sprint trains get organised, crashes, etc, it’d be a lot more involving. Most of them are already carrying radio’s anyway.

    Completely agree on the audio side of things. It is the sounds that gives you the sense of chaos more than anything I think.
