    MBOY – fantastic PSA there – the Kirkcaldy branch of Home Bargains is now bereft of westons variety packs 🙂 £1 a bottle!

    On the ‘niche’ cider side of things, I knocked up some superb crab apple cider 2 years ago that was just about the creamiest home brew i’ve ever tasted. Shame the summers have been so crap – neighbours trees have been bare since. Hoping for a better crop this year.

    I like them all: Yes, I prefer the “proper” ciders, but on a night out I am happy to drink Magners or Bulmers (without ice, natch).
