Sigh. Strange how the brain works, but when I read the name I recognised her as the 70’s soft porn icon, but for some reason was reading your post as “star of Emmerdale”. I was racking my brain if she went from exotically located soft focused, exuberantly pubed movie queen to playing a farmers wife on ITV tea time drudge fest…

In my LBS-shop working days we’d often have middle aged men bring in there “Emmanuelle” bikes for a service.

-“Do you mean Emmelle Sir? But I know what sort of films you watched in your youth!” 😀

Sad. A woman responsible for over half of the wrist injuries sustained by teenage boys in the 1970s.

I look forward to the retrospective of her work that Channel4 will no doubt broadcast.
