Another parts bin special, built from the remains of a 1990 Rockhopper and a Inbred frame off the classifieds. And in praise of the classifieds it all went great – frame as described, P2 forks in perfect nick (although delayed in the post, so got these Spesh ones from the Bike Station in Edinburgh for a fiver), and brake bosses came promptly from another seller. Total cost £73. It’s going to be a great commuter – did 60km round the Forth on it today. 39:15 – magic ratio so no tensioner!
