I'm guessing there shouldn't be any should there? I set them up when I first got them and have left them alone ever since. Had a quick fettle yesterday and a few teaspoons of yellowish oil spurted out of the positive air chamber. Same then happened with the neg chamber – both whilst unscrewing the shock pump.

Should I be servicing them do you think? They still seem to be working OK… They have also leaked very small amounts of oil in the past, just through regular riding about / after big hits.

    It should be there!!

Make sure you have the valve the right way up when connecting and disconnecting the pump (i.e. turn the bike upside down to do the -ive chamber), then you won't lose so much each time.

I see – thanks. Yup, bike was the 'right' way up both times. The +ive chamber got me right in my right eye. Ooyah!
