Nope, not for me, I prefer my trails with a little less certain death

First question, spd's or flats...
Posted 5 months ago # -
wow, not for me. Looks like a nice area to ride though.
Posted 5 months ago # -
anyone know where that is?
Posted 5 months ago # -
No chance
Whatsoever
One slip and you're dead doesn't sound enjoyablePosted 5 months ago # -
I could probably walk that... Wouldn't even want to push a bike along it never mind ride it. Buuuut,
seosamh77 - Membertake away the drop and you'd fly down the exact same terrain
Not sure I'd even bother to ride it tbh, without the deathyness it just looked a bit pants?

Their lack of skill or confidence shows and it scares me. I wouldnt push my luck with this amount of dabs etc. Good luck to them for future rides.

TBH I have a feeling that I would lose what small amount of skill and confidence I have if I had to ride that. The camera man appeared to ride most of it ok.

Somerset hills?
Posted 5 months ago # -
I couldn't even watch it all, never mind ride it!!

A small clip of the bars on the rock wall to the left would send you head first off the edge.
On the bright side, if I had to fall off that cliff I would rather it be head first.Posted 5 months ago # -
Bolloxs to that.
Posted 5 months ago # -
part of me wishes i was watching some sweary northerers on orange bikes doing it.
'cept we'd be using SPD's

Lordy. A bit like the Uina Schlucht last year ... I walked it
Posted 5 months ago # -
I'd be twitching so much riding that, hat it would take a week to break the seal between arse & saddle due to the suction created!
Posted 5 months ago # -
Its looks Spanish, dunno where though.

According the NSMB page with the same vid:
The trail is in Ötschergräben/Austria.

Well I agree with that I do think that board walk stuff is rotten.Posted 5 months ago # -
I think I'd have a go, and hope my vertigo doesn't kick back in. Trail doesn't look very challenging, just scary!

According the NSMB page with the same vid:
That's where I saw it. D
oesn't look like anything other than a scare fest really. If you're going to ride something that's got death potential, you'd at least like it to be entertaining. This doesn't really look that entertaining. Just s**t scary!

OOOhh eeek, nooo, leaning left....!!!!. Me not likey at all. Not a fan of exposure or heights, indeed I would be kinda petrified just walking along that.

This is a classic of course but lets reminder ourselves not to be silly;o) :

Blimmin flip. Be fine going the other way, I just hate drops on the right!
Posted 5 months ago # -
I'd do it as a nightride - what you can't see can't hurt you
Posted 5 months ago # -
reaching for my prozac after watching that
Posted 5 months ago # -
I'd be reluctant to walk it, I would never ride it. Don't do heights well at all.
The proximity of the rock face to the left makes it even worse as if you try to avoid the edge the chance of catching a bar end increases. Shudder.
Posted 5 months ago # -
neninja - still ride with bar ends ? now that's a worry, only joking.
obviously the ramblers at the end of the vid had not timed their walk to perfection(!)Posted 5 months ago # -
My bum was twitching just watching that!
Liked the tune, is that RJD2?
Posted 5 months ago # -
Not alot of point in wearing pads is there ?
S'ok my kyle straights will save me as i fall 60 feet into a ravine.Posted 5 months ago # -
Its in Austria if you want to ride it. A Trail near Hermagor.
Posted 5 months ago # -
High consequence riding.
Respect due but I prefer slighlty better odds of coming homePosted 5 months ago # -
