Was in Sidwell Cycles today, being annoying (brought my bike into the shop, leant it up against a display, borrowed a pump and some tools, you know) when a bloke came into the shop in a wheel chair with a puncture.

The guys dropped everything and spent about ten mins ringing round all the other shops in the area (including 3 halfords) trying to get him a new tube and generally back on his feet, so to speak..

Good lads, very keen, very helpful to a bloke who'll certainly never be buying a bike off them… Respect. Will definitely be my new LBS.

    Cheers

Was it the guy with the hand-pedal wheelchair? I've seen him in there a few times.

But yeah, they are good in there, helpful and friendly.

I've been in there a few times and have always been really impressed with how helpful they are. They've got some lovely stuff in there as well. I always try to get a look at their shop front as the park and ride bus goes by.

In fact, that reminds me, I need to buy some touch up paint for my Bianchi road bike…
