    Depends on your budget and if off the shelf meets all your needs. I bought a Trek Marlin SS, have upgraded the cable discs to cheap CRC hydraulic Deores and will change the fork out when I get round to it other than that its perfect for what I want.

    I feel that to compliment the singlespeed you will also require the rigid fork too forget all that 100mm stuff, see here…..
