Did my eyes deceive me, or was he wearing M or Pro M frames in silver metallic yesterday?

*Edit -watching Sunday highlights now, and yes. He was/is!

Looks like I’ve rounded up the usual suspects!

They certainly looked like older Pro Ms. My fave frames*, especially with a VR28 lens.

*Until I got my Radar EVs, that is. 🙂

Aesthetically and fit/comfort they are by far my favourite pair of Oakleys

Weirdly I stumbled upon my M-Frames today, I must say I stopped wearing them once I got Radars, personally find them more comfy. Liking the Retina Burn(?) yellow ones though! They’d clash with our team kit or I’d get some of the Radarlocks!

What do we reckon, his personal stock, NOS, or an Oakley favour?

I can put you in touch with a guy who can paint yours for you (sadly he’s in the states) I had a pair of radars done in retro splatter yellow

Njee, my Radars are Retina Burn. 🙂

Didn’t they keep a few things in stock for G? Oh, and there’s some US snowboarderist who insists on wearing older A-Frame goggles.

Cheers Houns, our kit is black and (canary) yellow, so they’d look pretty terrible I fear! Needs to be Tinkoff yellow to get away with it!

Njee, my Radars are Retina Burn

Nice! They don’t do such exciting ones these days. Annoyed they don’t do Uranium Radars/Radarlocks. Not keen on the EVs. They’d still clash mind.

These guys do a lot of customs for the road teams, my pairs worn by Phinney and Evans were done by them

If anybody has any Pro-Ms I will buy them… Please. Not coz of Alberto.

Trouble with custom Flashy is that they’re still daily sedate colours. I like the Retina Burn and Uranium and Antifreeze, the slightly mental ones. Most of the custom colours (on my favoured models at least) are just a bit ‘meh’ for me!

Good link Houns, thanks. Liking some of those!

MOAR Oakley geekery at La Vuelta (and probably elsewhere!)

Anyone else noticed that the blue frames that Team Sky are wearing don’t match the blue of their helmets/shirts?

Another older style on Bertie today! Looked like MkI Radars in Chrome.

Are Oakley doing a “Heritage” range or something?

i keep getting distracted by the awesome race going on around this retro one man fashion show

Junky, the racing is indeed awesome, but this is, as you can see, a “spoilerless” thread about Bertie’s sunnies.

Didn’t look like Locks in the filmed footage, and were definitely chrome.
