Got one of thier tables and a bed frame, it’s very solid and suspect it’ll last a lifetime (or till the Mrs gets bored of it) some of the fine details on them are a tiny bit rough and the bits you can’t see (under the table for example) are unfinished – which is exactly how the antique oak stuff my parents have is. It’s not as nice as the sort of stuff you see in John Lewis, but it’s not far off ikea money.
One thing I wasn’t so happy with, the ones in the shop look great, beautifully polished – but the ones you get when you buy them aren’t nearly as nicely polished, they come with a big tin of beeswax, took me a morning to polish off the crap job the factory did of waxing it and redo it, but I love the smell so it wasn’t too bad. You need to redo it every 6 months or so apparently, you can’t just give it some pledge like veneered chip-board.
