Frame came with a Monarch RT3 High Volume…..

Shock is ok but not great. Main issues are shock is too linear, blowing through travel easily and lacking mid-stroke support. Plus the platform setting is too firm for my liking – I’m only 11st with kit.

I have spaced out the air can which has improved the bottoming out, but other issues remain.

Has anyone tried a Fox Float CTD?
What about a piggyback shock like the Float X or Monarch Plus?

My impression is the Debonair shocks are a non-starter as they are even more linear due to the increased volume chamber size….

Call LOCO/TF etc. about tuning what you have, if you want specific characteristics for a specific bike you will probably need more than a basic middle of the road tune in any shock. I’d go with their advice and getting a new shock tuned by them or getting the current one tuned for you.
