Sport has changed a lot at school Tron. Very different these days. When I need some ideas on how to differentiate a lesson, I often go to the sports department to discuss with them or observe their classes.

When I got mine in my training year at my training school I was lucky, they had an unprecedented number of applications for the job 33 if I recall correctly, especially for that school in that area.
As I said in a post the other day, I was talking to a primary school teacher who used the ‘get back into teaching’ course to retrain after having kids.
She cannot get a primary teaching job anywhere. Has had to apply for TA positions. which have had in excess of 150 applicants.
Times have changed. If your friend is only just started looking then that isn’t the best plan, we have students hired before Christmas.
If she/he can get a long-term cover position they can try ang et the school to start the NQT year for them, but, if they do start cover they then have a time limit (14 months I believe) to complete their NQT training or it all becomes invalid.
