And there was me thinking this morning’s push up the Bishop Hill was tough.

Not for me that! That’s a heck of a photo though.

Love my climbing but it would be a cold day in hell before I attempted that. No thanks.

But incredible perspective none the less.

From my limited experience of climbing (a two-day course last year) the message I took away is that sport climbing isn’t actually that dangerous – assuming you take the proper precautions. From the other photos on the site they’re definitely roped up, and I assume anyone doing an 8a knows what they’re doing…

Still very impressive bit of climbing, though!

Nope, never heard of him before today. From the Wiki page it’s clear he’s a very talented climber though!

Just a bit airy, that’s all.

Superb effort by the two of them to stay focused for so long climbing at that standard in those kind of positions in less than ideal conditions, even though there were a few ‘easier’ pitches dotted in among the dead ‘ard ones.

I don’t know. Given the perspective I think it probably even worse to be an alpine photographer?

Highly recommend “Longhope” DVD. Beautifully filmed with a proper respect shown to the history of the route.

There’s a photo of me that looks just like that one.

The difference is that I was lying flat. 🙂

At least the surname is right.
