    OK, so I know this is a MTB forum etc, but I'm looking to take the plunge and join a club. I'm near both Nottingham and Loughborough. Any recommendations for a friendly bunch please?

    The riders I've met from Beeston rc always seem friendly enough, and seem to have an active calender, and there is a new club in the same town, Beeston cc.
