I haven’t seen too many requests for sonsorship on the forum, so not sure if it’s the done thing. So…..

New Years Day 2014, I’ll be taking part in the Saundersfoot New Year’s Day Swim to raise money for Herefordshire RDA (Riding for the Disabled) Equine Therapy Centre. There is a bit of back ground in the MyDonate link below about my son, the RDA and how they have helped him.

Im bet your son must love going there. One of the finest charities out there IMO.
(Mum used to chair glos RDA and my Aunt (Downs) was a regular rider with them for 30yrs)

Just got home. Great turn out despite the weather, although the forecast heavy rain was only light showers. The sea was @&£)(;:/- freezing. Ice cream head and my feet have only just warmed up enough to get feeling in them.

Water side. I was almost the last in, others were running back before I’d got half way down the beach. I swam out to the lifeguards, about neck deep, then swam and body surfed back in.
