    Looking for recommendations for great MTB destinations around 4-5 hrs from Calais?
    Hoping to travel out on the Thursday and return late Sunday.
    Looking for a mix of challenging natural terrain & maybe a trail centre kinda thing.

    Voseges – 5.5hrs all ride up
    Suisse Normandie isn’t worth the drive really
    Metabief in the Jura is 6.5 with uplift

    You may find some bike parks in central/northern Germany with a bit of searching

    Google Directions gives 5.45 hours to the middle of the Vosges Mountains

    The Pfalz in Germany would be 5 hours

    German Eifel could be done in 4 hours

    There is plenty on offer in those 3 locations
