    Afternoon…

I’ve got a week off beginning the 24th, and I’m after a getaway to North Yorkshire- any reccommendation for a descent B&B/Guest house in the Kirkby Lonsdale area- preferably with a pub/grub in walking distance?

    Cheers chaps…

[pedant] do you want to go to North Yorks or Kirbky Lonsdale which is in Cumbria? [/pedant]

This place was very nice and about 100m from the main street in Kirkby.

However, a magpie did crap into my company laptop (which i shouldn’t have had with me) while I has sat in the garden, but I can’t blame the owner for this.

mrsflash, Can I not go to both? 😛 Or do I need a passport?

Cheers Harry- dropped them an email. Will avoid magpies, or take a gun.

Used to live in Kirkby and this place was always the best pub in town and does B+B – http://www.sun-inn.info/

Not been there in a while though.

Edit: Oh and to add to the confusion, Kirkby has a Lancashire postcode 😉

You don’t need to avoid all magpies. Just the one that shat in my laptop.

    Ey Up!

Blatant plug for our newly opened Dales Bike Centre

Just outside Reeth about an hour East of Kirby Lonsdale. Ace riding, cafe, bike workshop, secure bike store, smart bunk accommodation.

    Take a look
