A couple weeks ago Colin of flattyresmtbroutes posted up that four of us were going to attempt a North Wales coast to coast ride from Aberystwyth to Prestatyn following this route, hopefully raising some money for charity and at the same time creating a route guide for others to follow in the future.

Well we did it last week, somehow we managed to pick probably one of the hottest weeks of the year so far to do it, but despite that we had great fun, rode some well known and some not so well known but still fantastic trails and met some great people out on the trails, at our rest stops and also not forgetting some of the people in the online MTB communities that have contributed and helped out too.
The Day 1 pictures are now on line here A BIG RIDE for little lives and as we sort through all the pictures taken we'll be posting up all the other days riding. Also Colin is working on a complete route guide for it all that should be online soon.
