    Anyone use this road?

Baffling new road markings just outside the tube station, doing I don’t know what. Looks like bike filter on the left, with a traffic stop box in the middle. Same in both directions, no junctions nearby.

Only thing I can think of is something to do with managing pedestrians and other traffic on Arsenal match days, but given that they seem to do this pretty well with temporary barriers and police cars, that doesn’t make much sense either.

    ❓ Any ideas?

I felt boring enough just asking a question about road markings.

Taking a picture of road markings and posting it to the internet might be a step too far for me.

I might have to, though. I ride over it twice a day, tand I’m too curious to stand long term bafflement. Other choice is to phone the council and ask them about the purpose of the new markings.

I’d like to think I’ve got more going on in my life, but maybe I haven’t!
