Having moved to Norfolk a few years ago being my wife’s wish, I thought that my mountain biking days were over, all the lads here are flat land XC whippets! But having discovered fat bikes at the same time, I realised that we have a fantastic coastline and fun can still be had..
Last week saw first East Anglia fat bike weekend, with a group of 13 riding from Burnham Ovary Staithe to Wells next the Sea and back via the local cider producer, chippy and the odd pub, braving the rain at the campsite and then 8 riding on the Sunday at Brancaster towards Hunstanton, slightly thwarted by a high tide.
Thanks to all that came, hopefully i’ll try to the same again next year and make it an annual event with a few lessons learnt.
One very happy dog indeed 😀 Simply brilliant weekend. Thanks again Scud for organising, cooking an amazing Chilli on Friday night, lovely bbq on Saturday, guiding the rides, providing a keg of beer and the entertainment and crap jokes across both days 😆
