Further to the unseemly squabble on an earlier thread about what is and what isn’t racist terminology, it got me thinking about how far its all come in the past 20 years and where its going!

I was watching Breakfast TV this morning and Stevie Gerrard was talking about the amount of ‘Foreigners’ in football and I thought…you won’t be able to use that word soon mate!

Any others due for the chop any time soon?

Chop – upsetting to amputees
Due – upsetting to those in debt
Others – non-inclusive terminology

Time – denigrating to prisoners those who have been incarcerated at her majesties our monarch’s current head of state’s pleasure

Breakfast TV really upsets muslims during ramadan.

I dislike the use of the term “* word” where * represents a letter of the alphabet. When somebody says C word, F word, N word Y word etc. (last one courtesy of White hart Lane) everybody hearing it always mentally hears the word it represents, so where is the supposed lack of offence?

Racist/racism. There won’t be any, so those words will eventually be phased out.
