Hey, anyone ever run a old style non disc chameleon with an alfine, is it doable? Also any idea of any changes to geometry to the newer models?

    Cheers

The old mk1 non-disc Chameleon was designed to run up to a 130mm fork IIRC (one of the first frames to). Newer Chameleons have been allowed to run up to a 160mm fork I think so I'm guessing the geometry has changed a fair bit from the old ones.

I had a mk1, polished. Was one of the best bikes I've ever ridden until some scrote broke into my parents garage whilst we were on holiday and dragged it (whilst still locked to my brothers LTS) over the top of the car and away into the night…

Think I read somewhere that the older frames were a bit larger on the sizing? I'm 5,10-5,11 but like shorter bikes in general so thinking of a medium but want to run an alfine for commuting and winter use as well
