I’m after a single solution to improve the sound from the telly and to play music (streaming from idevice and android). Is a soundbase or a streaming speaker box likely to be the best?
I’m not an audiophile, so it doesn’t need to be top end. Currently looking at a Ruark R2, but doesn’t appear to have an optical input which is what a telly will need right? It does have DAB, which I like.
There doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of stuff around, most streaming boxes are portable things. I want something which I can plug into everything and leave it alone.
I’m sure that there is a Sonos out there which is perfect, but too spendy for me and I don’t need multi-room.
Any suggestions from the collective would be greatly appreciated.
