    West Brom beat Arsenal.

    Arsenal beat Barcelona.

    West Brom > Barcelona.

….but Arshavin having his usual goal scoring celebration on his t-shirt was pretty funny.

Fantastic result for Arsenal last night, but in all truth, Barça switched off pretty much in the second half, and were unlucky not to have their second goal. Loads of pretty football, but no end product. Arsenal were lucky not to get a penalty against them in the dying seconds.

Enjoy it while you can. When you’ve beaten Barça at the Nou Camp, then you’ll have the right to gloat. 😉

As for ‘greatest football team in the World’; don’t be so silly. Go and win a few European Cups first…

The team that uses their hands to defend inside the box.

    Ahhh….Uruguay.

    …bit like Arsenal.

Cheat? Behave. Ball missed his head and hit his arm, which was by his side.

He moved his arm towards the ball. Stop deluding yourself. 😆

You lot have bin slagging off Arseshaving since he came to your club. Now, you can’t praise him enough. Typical Gooners.

You had a fair slice of luck last night. Had Barça’s second goal stood, which it should’ve done, then they’d’ve bin 2-0 up, and you’d be in serious trouble.

If Barca actually bother to play for both halves at the Nou Camp, the way they can, they will destroy you. And you know it. If you’re honest with yourselves, you know you’ve got a massive task on your hands. Do you think your team has the character and fight to go through? You’ve not shown that before. If Barca score early, you’ll be on the ropes, and then the typical Arsenal bottling spirit will kick in, and you’ll be down and out.

yeah, i’d say cheating was a bit strong. Could of gone either way, last night Arsenal had lady luck with them. For a change.

More of a ball to hand situation.
The ref, linesman, touchline ref’s interpretation of the situation and which side they got out of bed that morning are all that matter when this happens.

    We have?

He’s been getting a bit of stick recently for drifting in and out, but on the whole, no, he’s one of the most supported players.

That night at Anfield has a large amount to do with this.

Was a good win for Arsenal, albeit they appeared to be playing a team who turned out in Bianchi cycling tops and are managed by Andre Agassi….

Course, the only team* to beat Arsenal this year so far – in a repeat of the 1978 Cup Final, can I just add – managed to stuff SIX goals past the greatest team in, er, Doncaster the other night!

*The same team who have produced the two most successful England managers….you just wait, Paul Jewell for England!
