Last year the ISS came over on Christmas Eve. That won’t happen this year but it is due over tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1632 and whilst it’s not being driven by Santa this time round, those of you who’ve shown an interest in Tim Peake (or have space-nut kids) may want to take a look. And most importantly the weather’s set to cooperate at least here in Yorkshire.

After watching Tim’s launch and docking it has piqued my daughters interest in the ISS. So do I keep up the pretence that it is Santa, or tell her it is the ISS passing over and hope she doesn’t remember it looks the same as when she saw Santa last christmas eve 😕

Ooops. My mistake – was going off Spaceweather but magnitude and altitude are low for 24th so maybe they reckon it won’t be visible (and the weather looks boff).

I wonder if the ‘ground control to major Tim’ joke has worn thin yet?
