Nigel Farage was on the radio the other day and an Italian phoned in and said it was nice to talk to ‘God’, at which point Nigel retorted ‘I am not the messiah, I’m just a very naughty boy’…

A story I love is about his son, who was doing really badly at a comedy gig. He got angry and shouted, “Do you know who I am? I’m Kirk Douglas’s son!”

At which point a man in the audience stood up and said, “No, I’m Kirk Douglas’s son!” and you can work the rest out for yourself 😉

Really had him down on 2016’s hit list, but good on him making it past 100.

Best film he’s been in to me (and another Kubrick film), Paths of Glory

Maybe not the best… Saturn 3 😉

But does have Farrah Fawcett in it. And Harvey Keitel! (dubbed!)

Weird film and have a bit of a soft spot for it.

DK very interesting, Paths of Glory I must try and find that. It was banned in France for 20 years I just read and only shown in 1975, the Birthday tribute to him on French TV featured that film plus Spartacus of course.

Was at the MEN a few years ago – took my wife to see Dizzee Rascal. He came on stage and shouted I’m Dizzee ****ING Rascal.

I was so so tempted…
