    The clever people that owned the house before me painted the PVCU windows with (badly), would nitromors be ok to remove it, or will it eat the plastic as well?

    how well has the paint adhered? I would have thought water elbow grease and a scouring pad might be enough.

    If you wanted to remove the frames as well as the paint then yes.

    I didn't think it would be suitable, but I am getting some to restore an old Victorian fire place that was coated in paint and then boarded over.
