    Hi,

Has anyone experience of the ROS 9? Any feedback on the BioCentric bottom bracket would be appreciated. Plus how does the bike ride obviously? Is it is as good as the reviews make out??

Some comments on this thread recently. I’m sure it rides lovely, but it’s got a lot of excellent competition at roughly half the price.

I was tempted, but then I looked at my bank balance, and got a Parkwood frame which I’m slowly accumulating kit for.

My thoughts on the ROS9 were…heavy, expensive, and the more bits you have moving around in a bottom bracket, the more scope there is for problems…but it probably is a blinding bike to ride!

Medium Buzzard frames were £200 last time I looked. The ROS9 is very nice (a mate has one) but four/five times as good? I don’t think so.

They’re imported by the same company as Santa Cruz, so

    Hugely overpriced.

    isn’t a big surprise.

I’d go for a Stanton Sherpa if I was in your shoes.

    I looked at a Ros9 briefly, but bought a 2souls quarterhorse.

Great reviews on both, but the quarterhorse is lighter, 853/stainless and the same price. Plus, I had first hand experience of the Quarter horse.
