Anyone know what loch that was on Nigel Slater’s programme tonight? Had what looked like a ruined fort or something next to it or on it? He had been filming in Carrbridge but for the sake of telly I guess it could be anywhere in Scotland.

If it was in that area it was probably Loch an Eilen just outside Aviemore Im heading there tomorow for a week with the bike.

Wasn’t loch an eilein, looked to be a walled fort, and the surroundings were more open with low hills and less trees

    I pretty sure its Lochindorb.

Its a bit north of Carrbridge. It kinda goes without saying but its a brilliant place like the rest of the area in the Cairngorms and north.

    Love the place.
