Hey folks. Im in the market for a tablet. Just looking for something to browse web, read books and watch films while travelling. I have read reviews off both and there are obviously pros and cons for both.. I know you can upgrade the o.s on the nook to let you use flash etc. Anyone had any experience with the nook?

If you search for “nexus 7” and “nook” on here you should get plenty of info.

I’d personally go with the nexus

yeh ive seen a few topics but cant quite make up my mind. both can be had for 129 which seems a bargain. thing thats leading me to the nook is the fact its a 10″..

just plumped for the nexus 7.. good price at 129.

Fwiw I prefer a 7″ tablet to a 10″ one as I find it better to use but that may be different for you

yeh i went for the 7″ as it will mostly be used when travelling..
