Twitter is frantic with pics some are as far down Sunderland. Tempted to head of town a bit.

claims as far south as Norfolk.

I’ve not seen any but it’s very cloudy here and the street lights are all over that sky.

I’ve just been watching them from a dark spot near Aviemore

Nice clear sky in North Wilts, but too much to hope they’d be visible down here, and there’s too much light pollution in town.
And I’m not driving out into the country just on the off-chance.

Bright green sky to the north from the East Lothian coast. Someone is getting a good one further north

Faint hint of them from my bedroom window but as it’s in the direction of the town centre it’s not very good.

Probably light pollution from Dundee just about (and only just) washing it out

Nipped out, freezing and clear but still nothing. Watched a fantastic display in Canada many moons ago but only seen a few poor displays since. 😥

I envy those who can see them. Have done once down here, amazing experience.

I saw them from Norfolk once, quite faint, but visible. I think its best when theres no light pollution north, which is why East Anglia was good.

Took a wee jaunt into the pentlands to have a look, I wasn’t sure what I was seeing earlier as it wasn’t so different from normal light pollution but looking again now it’s gone so that must have been it 😆 Quite cool, and a lovely cold starry night as well.

Just home after a quick drive to the Meldons near Peebles. Lovely bright yellow sky heading into green higher up. No dancing lights but did not look like light pollution from Edinburgh.

Very faint something in a very clear cloudless sky in North Shropshire.

Decent show here in the Tyne valley – got a few pics from near Stocksfield

Been out for a bimble in the hills, bit too much cloud low to the North but certainly noticed a greenish tinge to the sky that’s not normal.

Did manage to get a good view of Jupiter just above orion to the West and hercules, bootes and Corona Borealis to the East were very bright.
