Is “New Years day dinner” a ‘thing’? I had no idea.

Anyway, we’re having Chicken Kavara, I’m not reeeealy sure what it is, we stayed with some friends in Bulgaria a few years ago and had it there, it’s lovely – they post us over the packets of whatever it is and I add the rest.

Got a big lump of beef in the fridge which this thread has just reminded me I need to take out so it can come up the room temp before cooking.

    Thanks OP.

Pah, bloody pretentious lot you all are – it’s Sainsbury’s pizzas here – after cooking all over Christmas, and not even in my own kitchen, I’m having a week off 🙂

I was forced to have one of these thanks to the nurse on the ward. It has to be said, this xmass and new year will definitely be one to forget.
