New XT shifters – hope tech levers + matchmakers?

Can the new XT shifters be matchmaker’d to hope tech x2 levers…
I’ve done it before with older shifters but the new ones look different.
Anyone had any success?

But double check compatibility because there are different versions of Shimano i-Spec

Thanks for the link, but I want to use them with hope tech levers.
I think the covers are for use with shimano levers am I right…?
