Is the new Whyte T 130 RS really still 11 Speed? I’m wondering if Whyte have made a typo on their website or does the new T 130 really still have 11 speed whilst ALL the other new T – 130 and t -150 bikes run the eagle Eagle groupset including the entry level T-130S.

    I’d take 11 speed slx over Eagle xx1 😕

They’re just keeping a shimano option available for those who want it, which means 11 spd.

I don’t think the site has been updated with the new models yet has it? For instance I cant see the S150 29er?

The only change on the RS is the new air can on the shock and the new grips from Whyte but that’s about it! The carbon RS looks nice, it’s just a shame all models barring the works come with such heavy wheels. Mind you even with a carbon bar, lighter wheels and tubeless my 2017 C RS is over 30lb with pedals!

Some people just have to have Shimano on their bikes, and will pay the privilege. This means 11 gears only of course, and the lack of range that goes with it.
