  • New wheels: red hubs yay or nay?

Evening, I will be ordering a new wheel build tomorrow including hope pro 4 hubs to go on this bike:

I’m tempted to go with red hubs with it being my first item of hope bling and I think it will work with the red detail on the frame. It’s red or black for me.

Opinions on this matter of great frivolity welcome!

I would definitely go with red. You only live once, and life is too short to be coy.

Red only really works if you’ve got red chainring bolts/pedals/floating rotors/seat clamp etc.

I’d just do the lot now, then it’s done and out of the way.

I very nearly went red on my Fuel EX8… since I threw red brake calipers and pedals on, but figured it may be a bit much.

Kind of regret not going that way now… 😉

Coloured hubs are the shizzle. Do it.

Red or Green. Or even a Red rear and Green front (or visa versa). If you go Hope you’ve got to go bling.

That’s me convinced. Blingy red it is! Thanks all.

Note to hope: make green stuff please.
