Looking to replace my aged Shimano AM45’s and looking for recommendations.

The AM45’s have been great, but I would be interested in getting some lighter shoes and with a sole with a bit more grip for hike a bike sections. Options I’ve seen are the Specialized Rime, Mavic Alpine XL and Shimano MT53. Does anyone have any experiences of these or others?

I like the feel of the AM45’s in that they flex a bit and kind of replicate the flat pedal feel (also good for walking in), so I’m not keen to go to a carbon soled XC race shoe.
