Just fit one upside down

You can use Time cleats both way round you just have to move your foot less to release. In fact I tend to use the cleats ‘the wrong way round’ as I found that when jumping off stuff ánd trying to add a little style my foot would unclip because of the foot twisting towards the frame

I can’t use them other way round as have dodgy knees !

Just file the wider tab down a bit on the outside. It won’t last quite as long but will work OK, unclip how it should and at least you’ll get some use out of it.
