There are several great new technical trails on the E coast of Sardinia 30-60 mins from where we live:
1. Cengia Giradili, first stage of famous trekking (“Italy’s hardest trek”), The Selvaggio Blu. For years too loose/steep but now Comune has repaired path and built lots of switchbacks. Mostly S3, some S4 and odd S5 on SingleTrail Skala which we increasingly use to describe this sort of difficulty because widely used by visiting German/Swiss/Austrian/N Italian bikers



2. The Arzana Freeride trail now has a nice extension

3. Then the Urzulei Scala di San Giorgio has been repaired
