Evening guys, the Float Itch on my old Enduro is totally borked. I would think that suspension tech has moved on since 2002ish so what would you recommend? I don’t want to spend too much money. What size would I need etc? Cheers

When my ’04 Enduro needed a new shock I got a cheap (£100 I think) Fox RP2 from CRC and that’s been excellent.

rp2/23 I ran a float in there tghe linkage takes care of most of the platform issues. I do have a brain from an 04 around!

My ’04 also worked well with an ever cheaper Fox Vanilla that I bought 2nd hand for under £40 on Ebay. It was a pro-pedal one. The platform damping wasn’t quite as effective as the RP2 but still worked well and suited the bike when I was running a coil fork on it.
