  • new reverb – will a bleed sort this ?

warranty replacement reverb, I fitted it and shortened the hose the other week, kept hose and remote high, didn’t lose any fluid, so seemed fine without a bleed. First ride on Sat there, was getting a bit slow. Sunday even slower, even on highest speed. If I wind the speed back from highest it doesn’t move at all.

Am thinking a decent bleed will sort, otherwise it’s back to the shop it goes I guess…. ?

Colin – I have a new shiny Transfer, on the Anthem – followed your advice 🙂

This is the reverb on the Soul, just been replaced under warranty, again….

I’ll watch this with interest. I replaced a Reverb recently due to two big scratches put on the old one (my fault entirely). The old one had been faultless for the 4 years I’d had it. The new one is doing similar stuff to Iain’s.

Sounds like your hose shortening might not be 100% successful.

A bleed should sort it, but if it’s gradually getting worse, then you may have a leak on the hose connection – the tiniest bit of oil leaking is enough to cause your symptoms.

Well, I’ve bled it and it’s working as normal, load of small bubble streams came out so hopefully it’s sorted, thanks all.
