seen this the other day, looks like a nice route
we'll probably be doing it.

£17.50 for that? I think not. Maybe it's because I ride that area anyway, but that's a pretty uninspiring route choice for a sportif (sic).

There are loads of ace roads and climbs without having to stick to the obvious and busy ones that the route follows.

Looks like someone's all weather training ride with a map, website and hope of gathering in some cash.

It uses some very busy roads renowned for speeding motorbikes and cars!

Not the most inspiring route 🙁

You get a special sort of darwin award for sending a sportive up the A54 buxton to leek road. Organisers need to spend more time planning a proper route.
