    On a faintly more serious level, I do keep eyeing up the NEC Multisync series, which are a complete bargain in comparison.

    When the monitor is switched off via its AC adapter’s main power switch it consumes no electricity at all.

    That’s a pretty special feature, I must have one…

    I paid £2100 for an 18inch NEC Multisync 1810x years ago – it still has better colors than any monitor I have had since and photos look much more realistic.
