Last week i bought a Giro Aeon from my LBS, im completely happy with it, fit is perfect.

I went to use it in anger today, but the inside of it had some sticky warning labels, just the usual the universe will end if you dont wear this etc. The labels over lapped a bit and stuck to my hair when removing the lid so i peeled them off.

The last label however has taken some of the helmet with it…. About a 1 inch long 5mm wide section to be exact.

Now on a £200 im not really expecting this…..

Would i be justified in taking it back to the lbs ?

I’m guessing you’re not supposed to remove those stickers so probably not…

It’s just the usual legal stickers – easy peel ones.

There is one which has a serial number of the helmet which is more of a foil type material which i left on.

I’ve always removed the labels though and never had a problem.
