  • New Groupset on new frame. Anything that i need to know?

    OK,

    Brand new sworks FSR carbon frame (2009).

    I want to run XTR 2011 groupset on this (3×10).

    Is there anything I need to consider before purchasing said groupset?

    Couple of questions I do have:

    Front maech – DMD mount on this frame, so do I need the e-type mech?

    Rear mech – Shadow, long cage? How do I determine which I need?

    long cage if a tripple ring set up
    medium cage wont work with anything much bigger than 38t up front

    Are you looking at brakes as well? If so you need to consider why type of mounts you have.

    Thanks for replies guys.

    Ok – so as I’m going triple ring it will be longe cage.

    Brakes – I am using Hope V2 setup front and rear.
