Thinking of changing the forks on my enduro evo to save a bit of weight
From 36 170mm travel
To. 34 160mm travel

The new ones are 17 mm shorter axle to crown
Will this matter

34 will run with less sag anyway

Opinions please

Your head angle will be a bit steeper and your BB will be a bit lower. If you’re OK with these, you’ll be fine. If you can find a way of sagging the current fork a bit then that will give you a feel for the ride.

I was aware of the steeper head angle but had not thought about the bb
Think I’d be better going out in the cold and measuring the current axle to crown with me on the bike
