Hi – my first FF helmet (661 comp) has just arrived – it is very snug and presses quite hard on my cheeks. Will it soften up as the padding compresses?

Yep, mine was the same. After a couple of hours use it was fine. In fact, it was super comfy

Close and firm is okay. As you say, padding will compress. Helmets don’t skrink, just get bigger.

However, if you can feel any no compressible material pressing, that isn’t going to get any more comfortable. If it’s your first full face, it will feel a bit claustrophobic in there.
