    Evening,

Before I head off to buy a new Deore crank set, a quick question or two

The arm of my current FSA cranks keeps working loose and falling off, the teeth seem to have worn on the arm. Can’t find a replacement arm, so figured I’d have to replace the whole thing?

Bike is 9 speed, and current arms are 175mm. Is the Deore any good or is it worth paying more?

    Thanks in advance

Deore is a fine crankset, however i suppose it all comes down to your budget, the fact that your not using this mis-hap to upgrade your entire drivetrain to 10spd tells me you probably have a budget, so unless you are willing to part with more cash to save weight then the Deore will do just fine.
