I’ve just started building this up as a commuter / 2nd mtb.

It’s a 29er hardtail built up with a used frame and as new bits bought off people on here and finishing kit from the shed.

So started with this ……….

And after half hour I’m left with this ……

Just waiting for a few bits so I can finish it.

Spec will be ……

Large Parkwood frame
Rockshox recon solo air forks (new)
Shimano mt30 wheels
Deore double chainset
Deore shifters
Xt shadow + mech
Deore brakes
Geax barro race tyres
Fsa headset
Orange supercross bars
Orange strange grips
Orange strange seat clamp.

I reckon it will stand me £450 all in which isn’t to bad I think.

What do you reckon?

will a 27.5+ x 3″ fit in the rear do you think?, out of interest

I’m not sure to be honest. That tyre is a 29×2 and there is acres of room.
