As the title really. Don’t want to spend loads if I don’t have to

Superstar ceramic one lasted me nearly 12 months but most other people seem to get 2 rides out of them, just replaced it with a Hope steel one but only done one ride on it so too soon to tell about wear.

Just get a Shimano. £30 or so. Hopes are nice but they don’t last twice as long, do they?

i’ve had a hope one in for nearly a year now and it gets used alot and in all weathers developed a slight creak the other day so i took it out, gently pulled off the dust cap type seal that sits between the bearing and the crank regreased the bearing popped it back in and bobs your uncle creak is gone and cranks spin smoothly again. So, so far so good. Gets my recommendation over the shimano ones that i have used and the useless raceface one that lasted 2 months!
